Mitchell S. Diaz, LMT, CPT

Mitchell Diaz has been a licensed massage therapist (LMT) since 2004. The objective of his practice is to utilize effective and safe evidence based bodywork modalities and exercise to help bring his client’s body into optimal and functional postural alignment. With a focus on prevention, he uses his training to identify and correct chronic postural strain patterns before they become chronic pain patterns. By using bodywork and exercise to create balance and functional symmetry in the body along with education, he is able to help his client not only prevent occurrences but also recurrences of chronic muscle and joint pain.

Originally educated in the field of industrial design, Mitchell’s own personal experience of being overweight and in pain and going through the process of reversing his condition eventually, and after much soul searching, brought him to his current path of health and fitness.

Mitchell’s primary training in massage therapy was obtained through Lindsey Hopkins Technical Education Center in Miami, FL where he completed a 750 hours certification program. He has since continued his education in various modalities such as neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release techniques, and Active Isolated Stretching Mattes Method. He later became a certified personal trainer with the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) and is also Hardstyle Kettlebell Certified Instructor (HKC). Mitchell is currently engaged in a certification program for Eric Dalton’s Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques as he continues to explore methods of postural alignment and pain prevention.
